| | crackmusic | ] | we're in a youth hostel in grasmere, where there are big big mountains to climb and constant goat bleating for background noise. pretty absurd, don't y'know? it is a small town, like gravenhurst -- overridden with senior citizens, they must have the lowest crime rate ever. when in rome, do as the romans. when in england you grow properly pompous. although, i'm learning quite a bit about myself apparently -- i enjoy unchased shots of rum out of plastic bowls more than i ever thought i would.
my teacher called me brilliant yesterday.
don't let anyone lie to you, hostels are pretty ugly.

| | musique | ] | Yeah, I'm in the famous university town of England now...I've got some quality stories. Met a man named Juan who hooked us up with Amsterdam's finest, and a bit Columbias biggest export, (I obviously mean Bananas).
Anyhow, it's sweltering and nowhere is air conditioned so I'm sweating like a young Benet in a room full of pedophiles.
If that made any sense to you, congrats. |

| | Drivin' in my Peugeot hey-ay, yay-ay | ] | i saw midnight shakespeare, Antony and Cleopatra, at the globe theatre and it was mediocre at best - the actors ranged between 'attrocious' to 'lacking conviction,' and antony's death was played as comedy - Billy S. would have gouged out some eyes with his quill. &no, i'm not just bitter because we had to watch it standing for three hours.
the food in england tastes almost septic, luckily the beer is better. |

| | softrockradio | ] | I'm reporting live from the belly of the beast, on a courtesy computer at a New Jersey Hilton hotel - where the toilet-tops in the lobby lavatory are kept more anti-septic than my own home's kitchen counter.
It's boring, I've smoked all my butts, but bought Dramamine for the nights and No-Doze for the days. Oh how I love this land of the free and land of convient pill purchasing at highway-side service stops.
My time is almost up. . . ! |
